We started Beginnings SC because we know how big the challenge is to raise a child who is deaf or hard of hearing. Our goal is to turn our expertise and experience into accessible resources and support as you provide the best future for your child who is deaf or hard of hearing.

Advocate

We’re here to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be by creating an individualized plan that fits your family and connecting you with professionals and other parents to increase opportunities for both your child and your family. 

Facilitate

We provide professionals with best-practice resources and guidance in order to increase access and reach of SC’s resources. Beginnings SC actively works to spread awareness and identification through hearing screenings, training, and community engagement.
